Job summary

Deer Park School in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Librarian (20 hours per week, 10.30am–2.30pm, term-time only) to support the Learning Resource Centre and promote reading across the school.

You will assist staff and students with enquiries, input catalogue data, and help facilitate ICT use and book clubs. First Aid certification is desirable, with duties at the reception desk and handling loans.

Qualifications

• First Aid certificate; ability to support First Aid room.
• Assist staff and students with enquiries.
• Input data into the library catalogue.

Responsibilities

• Champion literacy; promote the Learning Resource Centre to staff and students.
• Assist staff and students with enquiries and promote RLC use and ICT.
• Manage loan and reference collections; operate the Reception desk.
