Air Apps is seeking a DevOps Engineer Backend to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure powering our backend systems. You will work closely with developers to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployments in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in DevOps/SRE or Cloud Engineering, strong CI/CD and IaC skills, Docker/Kubernetes experience, and Linux proficiency. This is an onsite position at our Lisbon office with relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance and improve reliability.
• Enforce security best practices including IAM, logging, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency.
• Optimize cloud resource usage for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and practices.
