Job summary

Barclays is seeking an Assistant Vice President for the Liquidity Portfolio & Pricing Management team in London. You will analyse portfolio performance, influence pricing decisions, and develop optimisation strategies to deliver sustainable income growth while aligning with regulatory funding objectives.

The role requires a blend of data-driven analysis and strategic stakeholder engagement across Product, Treasury, Coverage, Sales and Risk teams.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and spot commercial opportunities.
Advanced Excel skills and ability to use data to support strategic decisions.
Knowledge of liquidity management and transaction banking products.
Understanding of financial markets and competitor dynamics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence senior stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience presenting complex information clearly to stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams while balancing priorities.

Responsibilities

Provide SME guidance on product features, benefits and risks to customers and colleagues.
Identify market trends and regulatory changes; analyze sales data and feedback to inform product development.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues; guide product usage.
Present product advantages to potential customers to drive adoption.
Support development of marketing materials for the product.
Participate in training sessions to share product knowledge.
Attend events and conferences to showcase the product and generate interest.
