Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Liquidity Policy specialist to join the Accounting and Regulatory Policy team in London. The role focuses on UK and EU liquidity requirements and collaborates with global colleagues, especially in the US, to ensure aligned policy outcomes.

You will advise on prudential liquidity policy implications of strategic initiatives, develop internal policy positions, and represent the firm in industry fora.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date knowledge of prudential regulatory frameworks including Basel standards, CRR/CRD, PRA and FCA rulebooks.
• Experience at a regulator or regulatory control / Treasury within a financial institution.
• Professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA) is beneficial but not essential if equivalent experience is shown.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy leadership on prudential regulation including Basel standards, CRR/CRD, PRA rules and related guidance.
• Develop robust interpretations to be applied across Morgan Stanley globally.
• Advise on liquidity regulatory policy impacts of strategic initiatives and balance-sheet changes in UK/EU.
• Represent Morgan Stanley in industry fora and working groups.
• Support balance sheet, capital and liquidity optimization and regulatory change initiatives.
