Job title: Linux Engineer

Experience Level: 4+ Years

Salary: Up to £200k + Industry Leading Bonus

My client is looking for a highly talented Linux Engineer to work in one of their system teams. They have an unlimited budget for optimizing their infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize next-generation Linux infrastructure on a HPC Cluster with over 1PB memory, 20K GPUs, and 100k CPUs.
• Architect a new on-premise Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Work in their high-performance DevOps team, building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop a new observability platform handling over 6 million requests per second, focusing on tracing and OpenTelemetry, with exploration into ML for Observability.
• Automate processes using Python and configuration tools.

Skills/Experience:

• Systems engineering experience in high-availability and/or low-latency environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Exposure to on-premise storage and Bare Metal infrastructure.
• Interest in DevOps.
• Passionate about technology and willing to learn.
