Job title: Linux Engineer

Experience Level: 4+ Years

Salary: Up to £200k + Industry Leading Bonus

My client is looking for a highly talented Linux Engineer to work in one of their systems teams. They have an unlimited budget for optimizing their infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize next-gen Linux infrastructure on a HPC Cluster with over 1PB memory, 20K GPUs, and 100k CPUs
• Architect a new on-premise Kubernetes infrastructure
• Work in their high-performance DevOps function (building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines)
• Develop a new observability platform handling over 6 million requests per second, focusing on tracing and OpenTelemetry, and exploring ML for Observability
• Automate processes using Python and configuration tools

Skills/Experience:

• Systems engineering experience in high-availability and/or low-latency environments
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience with on-premise storage and Bare Metal infrastructure
• Interest in DevOps
• Passion for technology and willingness to learn
