Job summary

Freedom Networks is seeking a Chargehand Linesman to lead the Overhead Line team on site in the UK. You will construct, maintain and replace overhead electrical networks up to 33kV while upholding safety and company standards.

The role requires Linesman experience, IPAF, NRSWA and a full UK driving licence, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork. A competitive package and flexible benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Be a core part of the Overhead Line team on-site.

About the Role

Your Key Responsibilities

Be a core part of the Overhead Line team, erecting poles, changing transformers, and performing a variety of overhead line activities. Construct, maintain, and replace overhead electrical networks up to 33kV. Ensure all work aligns with
Freedom standards, policies, and customer requirements. Lead by example on-site, safely executing tasks as directed. Participate in risk assessments before starting work and continuously review site conditions. Work safely in accordance with Company and statutory safety requirements. Complete all tasks efficiently, adhering to Company procedures and distribution safety rules. Install and construct overhead electricity networks to high-quality standards. Mentor and support the development of fellow team members. Maintain your own competence in line with legislative and customer requirements. Contribute to the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of Freedom's operations. Promote and demonstrate Freedom's AIMED and TLC values. Maintain issued vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent working order.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Experience as a Linesperson. Experience working on dead networks and/or live LV working. IPAF accreditation (training can be
