Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management, with Hyatt Place London City East, is seeking a Linen Porter to support housekeeping by delivering linen and supplies and helping maintain stockrooms. You will work closely with room attendants to ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations in a dynamic hotel environment.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and a proactive, team-oriented approach are essential. Prior training will be provided for safety and guest standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physically active work including lifting and moving linen safely.
• Reliable and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests.
• Experience in housekeeping or hotels is advantageous; full training provided.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delivering clean linen, towels and guest supplies to housekeeping stores and guest floors.
• Collecting, sorting and preparing used linen for the laundry provider.
• Maintaining housekeeping cupboards, stock rooms and storage areas.
• Assisting room attendants with large deliveries and guest requests.
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Supporting the wider housekeeping operation to maintain brand standards.
• Following health and safety procedures and safe manual handling.
