Job summary

Crerar Hotels is seeking a Linen Porter to support our linen and laundry operations across our Scottish hotels and in the Lake District. You will collect, deliver and organise linens, helping housekeeping and food & beverage teams while maintaining stock levels.

You will follow health and safety procedures, handle manual tasks safely, and work with a reliable, detail-oriented team to ensure guests receive the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications

• All levels welcome – experienced professionals or beginners.

As a Linen Porter at Crerar Hotels, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our linen and laundry services. Responsible for the collection, delivery, and organisation of linens, you will support both the housekeeping and food and beverage teams by maintaining adequate stock levels and ensuring all linen is managed efficiently. Your duties will include counting and recording linen deliveries, managing stock for laundering, and assisting housekeeping by stripping beds and removing used linens from guest rooms. You will follow strict health and safety procedures, particularly regarding manual handling, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness. A reliable and detail-oriented team player, you will have excellent time management and communication skills, ensuring that every department receives the necessary supplies to provide outstanding service to our guests.
