Job summary

TROO Hospitality in Oxford is seeking a part-time Linen Porter to join the housekeeping team at Oxford Eastgate. You will collect, transport and distribute clean linen, remove used linen, and support room attendants to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping desirable but training will be provided.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good physical fitness for lifting, carrying and standing.

• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen throughout the hotel.
• Remove used linen from guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely delivery to the laundry.
• Maintain stock levels of linen, towels, and supplies on each floor.
• Keep linen stores clean, tidy, and well organised.
• Assist room attendants and housekeeping with linen requests.
• Report damaged or missing linen to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Support other housekeeping duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organised Linen Porter to join our housekeeping team. This is an important role that helps ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen throughout the hotel.
• Remove used linen from guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely delivery to the laundry.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of linen, towels, and housekeeping supplies on each floor.
• Keep linen stores clean, tidy, and well organised.
• Assist room attendants and the housekeeping team with linen requests and general support.
• Report any damaged or missing linen to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Support other housekeeping duties as required to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
