Job summary

Warner Hotels Group in Bembridge Coast on the Isle of Wight is seeking a Linen + Luggage Porter to assist guests with luggage, manage laundry movements, and ensure room supplies are ready for cleaning teams.

You will contribute to a clean, well-organised hotel operation, with training and development opportunities. Competitive hourly rate with benefits and staff perks support your career growth.

Responsibilities

• Helping to move guest luggage as requested.
• Storing and moving clean laundry around the hotel from delivery points to the storage areas.
• Keeping the laundry area clean and tidy.
• Delivering bed configurations to hotel sections to ensure correct bedding and towels for rooms.
• Assist in weekly stock takes of laundry.
• Moving chemicals/disposables to correct storage areas.
• Collecting used linen from corridors during service or changeover days.

Hourly rate: Up to £12.71 per hour dependent on your age

What will I be doing?

• Helping to move guest luggage as requested
• Storing and moving clean laundry around the hotel from delivery points to the storage areas
• Keeping the laundry area clean and tidy and
• Delivering the required bed configuration to the sections of the hotel to ensure the room attendants have all the correct bedding and towels to make/service the rooms.
• Assist in weekly stock takes of laundry
• Moving of chemical/disposable and consumable delivery's to the correct storage areas
• Collecting of all used linen from the hotel corridors on service or change over days.
