Job summary

Warner Hotels is recruiting a Linen and Luggage Porter at Bembridge Coast on the Isle of Wight. You will assist guests and the housekeeping team by moving luggage around the hotel and helping ensure smooth room turnovers and service.

The role involves manual handling of large items, stocking the laundry, delivering bedding and towels, and supporting weekly stock takes. Benefits include gym access, discounted meals, pension, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Helping to move guest luggage as requested
• Storing and moving clean laundry around the hotel from delivery points to the storage areas
• Keeping the laundry area clean and tidy
• Delivering the required bed configuration to the sections of the hotel to ensure the room attendants have all the correct bedding and towels to make/service the rooms
• Assist in weekly stock takes of laundry
• Moving of chemical/disposable and consumable delivery's to the correct storage areas
• Collecting of all used linen from the hotel corridors on service or change over days

What will I be doing?

Our Linen and Luggage Porter will be working around the hotel, supporting both guests and our housekeeping team with items that need to be moved correctly. This is a role where you will need to be comfortable with manual handling of large or heavy items on a daily basis
