Job summary

JT Recruit Ltd is seeking a Pre-Pack Line Supervisor in Nottingham to manage daily start-ups, oversee packing quality, and ensure GMP and H&S targets are met. The role is full-time, permanent with Mon-Fri 40 hours and overtime. The successful candidate will monitor progress, support continuous improvements, and maintain housekeeping standards.

Experience in manufacturing environments, ability to communicate effectively with team leaders, and adherence to production plans are essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily start up and ensure glass & plastic sheets are done correctly and on time on AFP
• Ensure all products from the machine are packed/sealed with the correct print and traceability within weight and quality
• Monitor/communicate/report progress, downtime and staffing to Pre-pack Team leader
• Report issues to Pre-pack team leader & Maintenance promptly
• Pro-actively communicate with staff, Line leaders, Team leaders & Managers
• Pro-actively support continuous improvements
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping & GMP
• Support end of shift Hygiene needs by ensuring staff are compliant with the planned Clean down
• Meet all GMP & H&S Targets
• Follow and complete the production plan in line with the current bag rates. Take on any other duties as required or what is deemed necessary for the needs of the business

Job Title: Supervisor

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wages: £14.75 per hour up to 40 hours, overtime available

Key responsibilities:

• Daily start up and Glass & Plastic sheets done correctly & on time on AFP
• Ensuring all products from the machine are packed/sealed/with the correct print and traceability and within legal parameters in both weight and quality
• Monitor/communicate/report progress, downtime & staffing to Pre-pack Team leader
• Report issues to Pre-pack team leader & Maintenance in a timely manner through either face to face or by the Factory groups
• Pro-actively communicate with staff, Line leaders, Team leaders & Managers
• Pro-actively support continuous improvements
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping & GMP
• Support end of shift Hygiene needs by ensuring staff are compliant with the planned "Clean down"
• Meet all GMP & H&S Targets
• Follow and complete the production plan in line with the current bag rates.
• Take on any other duties as required or what is deemed necessary for the needs of the business
