Job summary

J T RECRUIT LTD in Newark on Trent is seeking a production operative for a full-time permanent role. You will manage daily start-up and Glass & Plastic sheets on AFP, ensuring correct packing, print, traceability, and compliance with weight and quality requirements.

You will monitor progress, downtime and staffing, report issues to the Pre-pack Team leader and Maintenance, and communicate with team leaders and managers.

Responsibilities

• Daily start up and Glass & Plastic sheets done correctly & on time on AFP
• Ensuring all products from the machine are packed/sealed/with the correct print and traceability and within legal parameters in both weight and quality
• Monitor/communicate/report progress, downtime & staffing to Pre-pack Team leader
• Report issues to Pre-pack team leader & Maintenance in a timely manner through either face to face or by the Factory groups
• Pro-actively communicate with staff, Line leaders, Team leaders & Managers
• Pro-actively support continuous improvements
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping & GMP
• Support end of shift Hygiene needs by ensuring staff are compliant with the planned "Clean down"
• Meet all GMP & H&S Targets
• Follow and complete the production plan in line with the current bag rates.
• Take on any other duties as required or what is deemed necessary for the needs of the business

Job description

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wages: £14.75 per hour up to 40 hours, overtime available
