Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a well-established manufacturer of plastic packaging in the Norwich area. The role involves packing, labeling and inspecting products to required standards, with a focus on quality, hygiene and safety.

Working in a small team you will complete accurate product records, follow procedures and respond to machine alarms. Training is provided, with a temporary-to-permanent opportunity and weekly pay for full-time hours.

Working as part of a small team, you will help maintain high standards of product quality, cleanliness and safety while packing, labelling and recording products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack, label and inspect products to required standards.
• Complete accurate product records and documentation.
• Maintain quality, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Follow operating procedures at all times.
• Respond to machine alarms and carry out colour changes.
• Complete machine and equipment clean-downs.
• Progress through grades and take on additional responsibilities.
• Assist with training once experienced.

Experience/skills required:

• Good numeracy and attention to detail.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Strong work ethic and team player.

• Commitment to health & safety.
• Monday to Friday
• 3-shift rotating pattern, (06:00am to 14:00pm, 22:00pm to 06:00am and 14:00pm to 22:00pm (1/2-hour unpaid break per shift)
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required depending on the needs of the company.
• Free on site parking
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• 28 holiday days accrued for full time workers
