Job summary

Jdr Recruitment's client, a well respected manufacturing business in the UK, is seeking Machine Operators for a temp-to-perm role. You will inspect and package plastic goods, monitor quality, perform light cleaning, and assist with health and safety practices.

The role involves manual handling, stacking pallets, and operating semi-automatic machinery if required. Shifts are 12 hours with paid breaks, 4 on/4 off (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am).

Responsibilities

• Inspection and packaging of plastic goods.
• Maintain high concentration to ensure quality and fault monitoring.
• Manual handling including pallet stacking, wrapping and moving pallets.
• General workstation cleaning and safety compliance.
• Operate machines on a semi-automatic basis if required.

Our Client is a well respected manufacturing business that is looking to add Machine Operators to their team

This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Duties

• Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
• A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.
• If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis
• Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
• General Cleaning around workstation.
• Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings
• Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies
• Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)
• £55.50 Attendance Allowance (if all hours worked in one week)
• 4 on/4off (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) 2 days, 2 nights
• 12 Hour Shifts with Paid Breaks
