Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a Line Lead to head the line team, driving continuous improvement and aligning with site objectives. The role owns line performance around the clock, develops the team, and implements integrated work system standards to achieve peak efficiency.

The position requires experience in FMCG production, strong leadership and stakeholder management, plus a track record in problem-solving and IT/presentation skills. Leicester site experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or similar production/manufacturing environment.
• First line leadership training and demonstrated leadership in operations, safety, and quality.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, analytical skills and effective stakeholder management.
• Demonstrating proven experience in continuous improvement.
• Applying structured problem-solving tools and methodologies.
• Flexible, a can-do attitude to role and responsibilities.
• Being results-driven and understanding the link between actions and outcomes.
• Influencing upwards and across the organisation.
• Demonstrating strong IT and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the line team to set and achieve continuous performance improvements.
• Own the line performance 24 hours a day, every day.
• Develop the team, implement IWS operating standards, and drive performance excellence.
• Drive the execution of the DMS work and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Build a high-performing line capable of 7-day/24-hour output.
• Identify gaps and bring in external capability when needed.
• Demonstrate leadership in challenging situations and apply continuous improvement.
