Job summary

PepsiCo UK is recruiting a Line Maintenance Manager to drive operational excellence, equipment reliability and team performance at our Coventry site. The role leads shift-based engineering teams and focuses on key KPIs including OEE, downtime and cost efficiency.

The position requires a proven engineering background in FMCG, strong coaching skills, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements through structured maintenance strategies and loss elimination.

Qualifications

• Experience with Integrated Work Systems (IWS), Progressive Maintenance, and Autonomous Maintenance systems.
• NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND qualification is preferred.
• Strong leadership with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Line Ownership & Results Delivery: own line engineering performance and KPIs (OEE, downtime, waste).
• Lead shift-based engineering teams and set clear expectations for results.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and breakdown elimination activities.
• Drive loss elimination and continuous improvement using data and RCA.
• Develop team capability and embed IWS standards across the site.
