Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is recruiting for a production line operator in Haverhill. You will work closely with the Area Manager to ensure smooth line operation, quality, and safety compliance on a Monday–Friday shift. Training and development of the team are core parts of the role.

You will monitor performance, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and uphold high hygiene and safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Experience on a production line in food manufacturing.
• Willing to learn and work collaboratively across departments.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate day-to-day running of the line with the Area Manager to achieve optimal run speeds and product quality.
• Deliver training and support to new starters and operatives, building a multi-skilled team.
• Monitor operative performance and maintain a strong training plan for every team member.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all team members adhere to technical and health & safety requirements.
• Encourage the team to monitor product quality and reject unsuitable products.
• Ensure equipment and areas are cleaned to hygiene standards and follow a clean as you go policy.
• Complete paperwork and line checks accurately.
• Communicate clearly with the team and wider business.
• Promote all relevant company policies and procedures.
