Sofina Foods Haverhill is seeking a reliable Production Operative for the afternoon shift to uphold quality, safety, and efficiency on the production floor. You will assist with preparing, assembling, and packing food products while maintaining high hygiene standards and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Process and pack food products in line with required standards in a food factory setting.
• Follow all procedures around Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Quantity, and Cost.
• Operate equipment and support changeovers as trained, contributing to smooth production flow.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Keep work areas clean and organised in line with the ‘Clean As You Go’ policy.
• Complete monitoring checks and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Proactively report hazards, defects, or near misses to the Line Optimiser.
• Ensure all products, racks, and dolavs are properly labelled for traceability.
• Support team goals by working flexibly across different areas of production.
• Escalate any production issues and help drive resolution.
• Comply with all company systems including Hellenic procedures.
• Carry out all reasonable tasks as requested by management.
