Job summary

Scottish Shellfish is recruiting an experienced Line Leader for our Bellshill facility. You will evaluate production plans, set up the line and supervise workers to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring productivity, maintaining records, and upholding health and safety policies. Training and escalation of issues to the Production Manager are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Line Leader preferred but not essential.
• Understanding of product manufacturing, specifications, production standards, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency with computer/tablet use and office software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production plans and set up the production line accordingly.
• Ensure operations follow specifications and SOPs.
• Monitor productivity and quality to optimise line efficiency.
• Identify and resolve line issues promptly.
• Maintain records of throughput, efficiencies and order planning.
• Train and supervise new production line workers.
• Maintain safe and tidy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide progress updates to Production Manager.
• Participate in company training plans to develop skills.
