About The Role

Join Our Dynamic OnsiteProduction TeamatIPL Sittingbourne!

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Line Leader to join our onsite Production Team at our Fresh Produce packing facility in Sittingbourne. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a vibrant team, this role is ideal for you!

Position Details:

Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 7pm - 7am (Nights)

Location: IPL Sittingbourne - Site Based Role
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and organize a production line to meet daily targets (efficiency & yield) and ensure customer satisfaction with high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety laws.
• Verify that finished products meet customer specifications and are released positively.
• Maintain accountability for product quality, promoting quality as everyone's responsibility.
• Complete daily checks and documentation accurately and promptly, including safety checks, handovers, and safety registers.
• Foster a safety, quality-focused culture, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
• Communicate effectively with all relevant parties, providing detailed handovers.
• Optimize resource use and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Deputize for the Shift Operation Leader when required.
• Follow the 5S process and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
• Record weights and ensure conformity with procedures.
• Coordinate with the packaging team to ensure labels and packaging are ready, preventing downtime.
• Verify products against the Matrix for packaging, labeling, and information accuracy.
