Job Title: Line Leader
Location: Evesham
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits
Hours: Rotating Shifts
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Line Leader to join our production team. As Line Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of operators, ensuring efficient production flow, meeting quality standards, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment. You will work closely with other departments to ensure production targets are achieved on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production operatives on the production line.
- Ensure all production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are met consistently.
- Monitor and maintain productivity levels, addressing any performance issues promptly.
- Ensure all materials and resources are available to the team to avoid downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, quality checks, and any issues that arise during shifts.
- Assist in training and developing new staff and cross-training existing staff members.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety guidelines.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and work with the Production Manager to implement process changes.
- Liaise with other departments (e.g., quality control, maintenance) to ensure smooth running of production processes.
- Resolve any production line issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Line Leader or in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of production processes and the ability to identify and solve issues quickly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices within a production environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changes in the production schedule.
