Job summary

Owen Payne Recruitment are partnering with a well-established Food Manufacturing Business in the Wolverhampton area. They are seeking a Level 2 Production Supervisor to lead a production team, maintain food safety and quality, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will own your production area, support continuous improvement initiatives, and step in for the Production Manager when required. This role offers a clear path to Production Management and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience, poultry experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

You'll play a key role in the wider operation, stepping up for the Production Manager when required and contributing to key decisions. MORNINGS:

• Days of Work - Monday to Friday - Hours Vary

AFTERNOONS:

• Days of Work - Tuesday to Saturday - Hours Vary

Pay:

• Dependant on level £28,000-£35,000
• Overtime, Weekends & Bank Holidays rates vary

The Role:

As a Level 2 Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a production team to achieve operational targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. You will take ownership of your production area, support continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the operation. In the absence of the Production Manager, you will confidently step into a leadership role and support wider business objectives.

What we're looking for in a Supervisor / Line Leader:

• Food manufacturing experience (poultry advantageous)
