Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Production Line Leader for our Ickburgh site just outside Mundford. The role is a hands-on supervisory position overseeing a production shift and guiding a team of operatives.

You will ensure safe, efficient production, maintain food safety standards (HACCP Level 2), complete paperwork, monitor quality checks, and provide effective handovers to the next Line Leader.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the production shift and production staff
• Ensure production operates efficiently and to maximum capacity
• Provide clear instructions and paperwork to Production Operatives
• Ensure production records, quality checks and paperwork are completed accurately
• Monitor production figures and report issues to the Production Supervisor
• Resolve production issues quickly and escalate where required
• Ensure equipment is operated and maintained correctly
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and food safety
• Ensure waste, packaging and damaged products are disposed of correctly
• Place ingredients or products on hold when required
• Make adjustments to water additions to meet specifications
• Identify training needs and support development of team members
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
• Provide effective handovers to the following Line Leader
• Ensure all procedures, quality standards and SOPs are followed
• Identify and report hazards immediately
• Promote a positive culture of continuous improvement

Production Line Leader

£15.64 per hour | 40 hours per week

Ickburgh, just outside Mundford

Monday-Friday | 6am-2pm

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Production Line Leader to join our team at our Ickburgh site.

This is a hands‑on supervisory role, overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the production shift and supporting a team of Production Operatives. You'll play an important role in ensuring production runs safely and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and hygiene.

What You'll Be Doing

Food Safety Level 2, HACCP Level 2 and Health & Safety training (IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 equivalent) are required. Training may be provided where appropriate.

Overtime is paid at double time after completion of weekly contractual hours.
