Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe London is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will learn and perform across positions including Dishwasher, Prep Cook, Line Cook, Receiver and Expo, contributing to a high‑energy Heart‑of‑the‑House environment.

Responsibilities include receiving and ordering, preparing recipes to spec, labeling and storing prep items, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You will work with Front‑of‑House to ensure smooth service.

At Hard Rock, you will be considered an all-around culinary employee and will learn the following positions:* Dishwasher* Prep Cook* Line Cook* Receiver* Inside/ Outside ExpoBasic functions in the Heart-of-the-House include:* Receiving and ordering product* Making prep recipes and menu products to spec* Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line* Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations* Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock* Cleaning dishes and operating a dish machine* Practicing safety and sanitation standards* Having a sense of urgency* Stocking products* Recycling products* Properly reading items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System* Assembling orders - double checking product quality and specs* Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge* Involved in handling all re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group procedures* Running food as needed* Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff* Acting as a liaison between the Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staffJob Requirements include:* Performing duties which require bending, reaching, lifting and standing for long periods of time* Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”)* Following all uniform guidelines* Practicing all safety & sanitation standards* Recycling products, where possible* Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere* Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency* Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers* Maintaining HRC’s 5 core Values and Mission Statement### Why work here?Thank you for choosing us as your employer of choice!
