Job summary

Convene is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our London-based events team. You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of all event catering, maintaining menu knowledge and high standards across food quality, service, and sanitation.

You will participate in cost-saving initiatives, support training programs, and lead shifts with hands-on leadership to foster learning and growth within a dynamic kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen/back of house operations desirable.
• Knowledge of quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.
• Will be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all event catering relative to food and beverage.
• Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and specifications.
• Participate in cost saving initiatives and training programs.
• Lead pre-shifts and recurring property leadership meetings.
• Demonstrate hands-on leadership while delegating and following up.
• Ensure sanitation, kitchen organization, and proper food handling.
