Convene Rathbone in London’s West End is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our opening team. You will assist across key prep stations, support live service counters, and develop foundational techniques in a world-class events environment.

As a member of the opening team, you will help shape culture, guest experience, and long-term success of one of London’s most exciting new venues. Applicants must reside in the UK and be eligible to work without sponsorship.

Qualificações

• 2+ years kitchen experience in high-volume catering, hospitality, or corporate event service desirable.
• Working knowledge of food hygiene fundamentals and kitchen safety standards (Level 2 Food Safety preferred).
• Strong team mentality and reliable during fast-paced service periods.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare mise en place, ingredients, and dishes under guidance of Head Chef and Sous Chef.
• Assist with plating, hot-counter service, and live event stations.
• Attend daily kitchen briefings and communicate inventory or equipment issues to leaders.
• Maintain HACCP, COSHH, and Convene food safety regulations at all times.
• Log daily prep wastage and support fellow venue team members on high-profile functions.
