Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is seeking team members for the Heart-of-the-House to support our kitchen operations. You will receive and order products, prep recipes to spec, label and store items, and set up line stations in a fast-paced environment.

We value safety, sanitation, organization and a positive attitude. You will work closely with Front-of-the-House colleagues, perform opening/closing duties, maintain clean work areas and help with dish and prep tasks as needed.

• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform guidelines.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and ordering product.
• Making prep recipes and menu products to spec.
• Labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line.
• Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock.
• Cleaning dishes and operating a dish machine.
• Practicing safety and sanitation standards.
• Stocking products.
• Assembling orders and double checking product quality and specs.
• Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff.
• Acting as a liaison between Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff.
