Seminole Hard Rock is seeking a Cook Trainee or line cook to join the kitchen team. You will prepare items for grilling, frying, and pantry, ensure plates meet quality and presentation standards, and work closely with coworkers to maintain smooth line operations.

Responsibilities include following recipes, managing inventory of ingredients, and adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines in a dynamic, hot kitchen environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Formación

• Basic food preparation knowledge and line work experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• One year of Cook Trainee or coffee shop line cook experience or related culinary degree/apprenticeship.

Responsabilidades

• Provides superior customer service to customers and coworkers.
• Prepares foods to be grilled, fried, broiled, or pantry items per menus and keeps plates attractive and cooked to specifications.
• Recognizes sauces and places them correctly on entrées.
• Maintains a neat, clean work station and supports line cooks for efficient operations.
• Reviews recipes and documentation to ensure proper cooking and portioning.
• Lifts and moves up to 50 pounds and works in a hot, noisy kitchen environment.
• Operates standard kitchen equipment such as slicers, choppers, mixers, and grinders.
