Job summary

Lubrizol in Hazelwood, UK is seeking a Technology Operational Excellence R&D System Application Engineer to configure and continuously improve our LIMS platform. You will translate approved requirements into robust, scalable laboratory solutions while collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure data quality and process standardization.

You will design laboratory workflows, templates, reports and dashboards, establish data standards, and develop training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, chemistry, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
• At least one year of laboratory environment experience configuring or supporting LIMS/ELN/data workflow or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Understanding of laboratory workflows, scientific data, test methods, measurements, samples, results, and data-quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain LIMS functionality, translating business requirements into scalable platform solutions.
• Design and implement laboratory workflows, forms, templates, reports, dashboards, test methods, and supporting data structures.
