Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Technology Operational Excellence R&D System Application Engineer to configure and enhance our LIMS platform, translating approved requirements into scalable laboratory solutions. You will collaborate with process owners, IT platforms, developers, and vendors to deliver robust data workflows.

The role focuses on designing lab workflows, establishing data standards, and building dashboards while mentoring Data Stewards to improve data quality and adoption across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, chemistry, or related technical/scientific field.
• At least 1 year of lab environment experience configuring or supporting LIMS/ELN/data workflow or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Understanding of laboratory workflows, data, test methods, measurements, samples, results, and data quality expectations.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear technical configurations using analytical and logical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain LIMS functionality, translating business requirements into scalable, supportable platform solutions.
• Design laboratory workflows, forms, templates, reports, dashboards, test methods, and data structures.
• Establish configuration standards, docs, and best practices; update designs with lifecycle changes.
• Define and implement laboratory data standards and reporting outputs.
• Develop training materials and mentor Data Stewards for data quality and stewardship.
