Job summary

PTSG Group is a leading provider of specialist services in the UK and Europe. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage Lightning Protection projects, from post-tender activity through final payment.

You will handle JCT/NEC contracts, manage financial risk with project managers, submit payment applications, track variations and produce CVR reports. The role requires at least 1 year QS experience, good measurement skills, and a solid grasp of contracts and project finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of QS experience.
• Good practical skills in measurement.
• Solid understanding of contract details and project finance.
• Familiar with spreadsheets and analysing cost changes.
• CSCS card or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial elements post tender from start to final payment.
• Handle communications and compliance for JCT/NEC contracts.
• Work with Project Managers to spot and reduce financial and contractual risks.
• Submit payment applications, manage variations and track costs.
• Produce weekly and monthly CVR reports for management.
