Job summary

PTSG Electrical Safety Division is seeking an experienced Lightning Protection Engineer to perform testing, inspection and maintenance of lightning protection systems across a variety of buildings and structures in the Brighton area. You will ensure compliance with BS EN 62305:2012 and deliver professional, customer-focused service.

The role requires proven lightning protection experience, an UK driving licence, and CSCS card; IPAF/PASMA/SSSTS are desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Lightning Conductor Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BS EN 62305:2012.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS Card.
• Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS.
• Proven experience in lightning protection (testing, inspection, or maintenance).

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, and maintain lightning protection systems.
• Complete compliance reports and issue certification.
• Identify remedial works and carry out repairs.
• Work at height and across multiple client sites.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
