Job summary
PTSG Electrical Safety Division is seeking hands-on engineers to install and upgrade lightning protection and earthing systems on a variety of sites. You’ll be out on site, working to design specs and staying engaged with project teams.
The role involves working at height, liaising with clients, and delivering high-quality site documentation. Ideal candidates have proven lightning protection experience, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, and a solid understanding of BS EN 62305.
Qualifications
- Proven background in lightning protection (install / test / repair).
- NVQ Level 2/3 or Level 3 Lightning Protection qualifications as listed.
- Solid understanding of BS EN 62305.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Install lightning protection systems in line with design specs.
- Upgrade and repair existing systems on varied buildings.
- Work at height using scaffolding and access equipment.
- Complete site documentation properly with no shortcuts.
- Liaise with site teams, project managers and clients.
- Work independently or as part of a tight-knit team.
