Job summary

Neg Earth Lights Ltd is seeking a warehouse operative to support fast paced operations in our London area. You will load/unload lighting gear, manage stock with handheld scanners, and assist with assembly, prepping, and de-prepping of lighting systems.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed. A proactive attitude and proficiency with MS Office are advantageous.

• High level of English written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously while being a real team player.
• Willingness to take ownership and accountability.
• Ability to plan ahead, organise, prioritise, delegate and oversee workload.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience, flexibility and ability to maintain positive relationships.
• Can-do positive attitude.
• The show must go on so providing a 7 day operation/service is key; overtime on occasions, including weekends, is essential.
• Good MS Office applications skills – Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading and unloading stage lighting equipment across various vehicle sizes.
• Stock management of equipment using the company stock control system and handheld scanners.
• Picking, prepping and roller painting stage lighting trusses, metal work and woodwork.
• Prepping and de-prepping stage lighting systems.
• Assembling stage lighting metalwork and woodwork.
• Cleaning cable, cases, equipment, aluminum trusses.
• Warehouse housekeeping.
• Assisting the cable department with stock control of power and data cable.
