Job summary

Lighting Technician role with Kiwa UK involves inspecting and testing street lighting for highways across the UK. The job requires travel, working on-site, and interacting with clients while maintaining accurate test records.

Comprehensive training is provided. You should hold a UK driving license, be prepared to travel and stay away from home, and have an interest in the field. DESIRABLE: HERS ECS and HEA NVQ Level 2.

Job Summary

As a Lighting Technician, you will work closely with the wider team and the majority of the workload will consist of travelling and working on-site.

About The Role

The main purpose of our Lighting Technicians is carrying out inspection and testing services, mainly on street lighting for the highways industries across the UK.

Your Daily Tasks Will Consist Of The Following Components
  • Structural inspection and testing of highway lighting columns
  • Communicating and liaison with clients and colleagues
  • Recording accurately electronic test results to a high standard for reporting
  • Working with our UKAS accredited systems
  • Data collection of highway assets
  • Corrosion investigation
  • Be the face of Kiwa CMT when on site with customers

You'll receive comprehensive training to ensure you have the knowledge and support needed to succeed.

  • £27,102 - £28,896 per annum, plus overtime opportunities
