Job summary

Direct Digital, part of the Panavision group, is expanding its Luminary Lighting Department in London and seeks a Lighting Repairs Supervisor to lead the safe repair, refurbishment and testing of professional lighting equipment.

You will manage day-to-day workshop operations at Park Royal, supervise a Repair Technician, coordinate priorities and resources, monitor costs and ensure timely, quality work that meets safety standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team-lead experience in lighting repairs or a similar workshop environment.
• Strong fault-finding, repair and testing skills.
• Confident leadership and clear communication to coach and guide the team.
• Commitment to safe working practices and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, efficient working environment with health and safety adherence.
• Lead a motivated team to meet productivity, quality, safety and turnaround targets.
• Ensure all procedures and work instructions are followed.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to colleagues to improve efficiency.
• Monitor performance, productivity and turnaround times; drive improvements.
• Plan staffing to cover peaks and allocate resources.
• Ensure repaired equipment is tested and despatched to standards.
• Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to protect company interests.
