A leading electrical wholesaler is seeking a Lighting Controls Application Engineer to design control solutions for large projects. This office-based role involves reviewing lighting enquiries, managing technical documentation, and requires excellent communication and technical skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review large lighting enquiries/projects and select/design control solutions.
• Manage day-to-day enquiries on control systems.
• Conduct site visits and prepare required documentation.
• Build a pipeline of lighting control quotes/designs.

Skills

Understanding of dimming topologies

Proficiency in MS Office & Bluebeam / CAD / Dialux / Relux

Experience with wired and wireless control systems

Ability to prepare technical submissions

Presentation skills

Detail-oriented

Understanding of Zigbee and BLE Mesh technologies

Knowledge of CIBSE relevant lighting guides
