Job summary

Canary Wharf Management Limited is seeking a proactive L&E Operations Support to assist the Lift & Escalator Services Manager in maintaining landlord-owned lifts and escalators across the Canary Wharf Estate. The role blends operational, technical and administrative responsibilities to ensure safety, reliability and high standards, with a 40-hour week (8am–5pm) and a salary up to £45,000 per annum.

Based in London, you will manage asset data, contractor performance, inspections and reports,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience within the lift and escalator industry or related building services environment.
• Good understanding of lift and escalator operations, LOLER requirements and industry standards.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Technically aware of lift and escalator systems and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Health, Safety & Operational Assurance with adherence to policies and permit-to-work procedures.
• Maintain operational records, LOLER inspections and asset registers.
• Register contractor call-outs, repairs and service restoration.
• Maintain asset and defect records using SharePoint and related systems.
• Prepare KPI reports, dashboards and operational performance information.
• Coordinate contractor activities and monitor performance against requirements.
• Provide administrative support for purchases, invoices and reporting.
