Job summary

Lloyds British is seeking an Inspection Engineer to cover the South Wales area in a full-time role. You will perform lifting equipment inspections, load tests, and related tasks, with hours Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30 (39 hours per week). Salary to be discussed at interview.

Founded over 200 years ago, Lloyds British delivers testing, inspection, maintenance, certification and training services. A driving licence and strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• LEEA qualification and/or experience in lifting industry preferred.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in Engineering desirable.
• Experience in a testing environment.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills with the ability to analyse and convey information.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect lifting equipment for safety and compliance.
• Perform load testing and pull testing.
• Occasional destructive testing where required.
• Manning the rigging loft and inspecting lifting accessories.
