Job summary

Lloyds British is recruiting a Lifting Inspection Engineer for a full-time role based in Erith. The position involves 39 hours per week, with salary to be discussed at interview. Key responsibilities include testing, inspection of lifting accessories, and contributing to ESG initiatives. Full training will be provided; a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• LEEA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential.
• Experience with working in a testing environment.
• Have an eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach.
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifting inspection tasks including load testing and pull testing.
• Occasional destructive testing as required.
• Manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards during inspections.
