Jackson Hogg Ltd is supporting a client in appointing a Service Manager for a busy, safety-critical engineering environment. The role involves technical and commercial decision-making, plus hands-on involvement in modernising processes.

Key duties include planning crane, hoist and lifting gear work, coordinating engineers, and turning inspection findings into clear repair quotations. You will liaise with customers and suppliers daily.

Formación

• Experience with cranes, hoists, lifting gear and site service work.
• Ability to coordinate engineers and interact with customers, suppliers and staff.
• Capable of making practical technical and commercial decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prioritise crane, hoist and lifting gear work for sites.
• Coordinate engineer workloads across inspections, repairs, breakdowns and visits.
• Ensure job scope, site details, customer contacts, RAMS and job cards are complete.
• Review service reports and inspection findings for repair quotations.
• Identify equipment defects and assess repair requirements.
• Obtain prices from suppliers for OEM and specialised parts.
