Hawk Lifting Ltd is seeking a Lifting Equipment Inspector for a full-time role based in Barnsley. You will carry out thorough examinations and tests of lifting gear in line with LOLER 1998, both on-site and in-house, producing clear reports and certificates.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, inspection experience, and the ability to advise customers on remedial actions and compliance. A full UK driving license and travel to customer sites are expected.

Qualificações

• Strong technical knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging components, and safety standards (LOLER 1998 & PUWER).
• Experience performing inspections, examinations and tests on lifting equipment with defect identification.
• Industry certifications in lifting equipment inspection are highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out thorough examinations and inspections of lifting and rigging equipment in line with LOLER 1998 and relevant standards, on-site and at facilities.
• Test and verify safety and performance; record findings and prepare inspection reports and certificates.
• Advise customers on remedial actions or compliance requirements; coordinate with service and manufacturing teams.
