Job summary

Stannah Group in Bristol is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Bristol and surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably across a local patch.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, replace components, attend breakdowns, and complete site paperwork. A NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence are required, with a market-aligned salary and company benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.

Lift Repair Engineer Job in Bristol at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £59,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Hours

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45

Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to covers Bristol and surrounding areas.

This is a hands‑on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults.

You’ll manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch

• Covering Bristol and nearby areas
• Local, structured patch
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• No unnecessary long-distance travel
