Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call Out Engineer to service, maintain and repair lifts across Luton and Bedford. You will manage your own route and respond to faults ensuring minimal downtime.

The role offers an optional night-call rota, door-to-door pay and a company vehicle, along with overtime opportunities and training for progression.

Qualifications

• Background in lift engineering with service, repair or installation experience.
• NVQ Level 3 is essential.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with a variety of lift products.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own designated service route covering Luton and Bedford.
• Use fault-finding skills to diagnose and fix issues.
• Attend call-outs; participate in an optional night-call rota.
• Operate in line with best practices.

Job description

This large and growing independent lift company are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call Out Engineer to support them in their servicing, maintenance and minor repair work across the Luton and Bedford areas.

As a Lift Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Managing your own designated service route covering Luton and Bedford
• Applying your knowledge as a Lift Engineer in fault-finding situations
• Attending call outs as required, with an optional night-call rota
• Working to best practices

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A background in lift engineering, in either service, repair or installation
• NVQ Level 3 is essential
• Worked on a variety of products in industry
• Hold strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
