Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting experienced Lift Service & Repair Engineers on behalf of an established lift engineering company. This role is based in Oxford and surrounding areas with a basic salary of £45,000+ depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will carry out planned servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs across a range of lift equipment, while maintaining safety standards and supporting a on-call rota where required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance required.
• Experience in lift servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on lift equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
• Responding to breakdowns and technical issues.
• Working on passenger, goods and platform lifts.
• Fault finding across different lift manufacturers and control systems.
• Completing maintenance reports and documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Participating in an on-call rota where agreed.

The Role

• Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on lift equipment

• Working on a variety of lift equipment, including passenger, goods and platform lifts
• Fault finding across different lift manufacturers and control systems
• Completing maintenance reports and associated documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Participating in an on-call rota where agreed

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance – essential
• Proven background in lift servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
• Experience working with different lift manufacturers desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage an allocated service area
• Full UK driving licence
