Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to cover a West London portfolio. The role offers a strong earning potential with standby, call-out, overtime, and a company van plus fuel card.

Essential are NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering and a Full UK driving licence, with prior lift servicing and maintenance experience. Commutable from Hounslow and surrounding areas; excellent progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of a variety of lift manufacturers and control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance across a West London lifts portfolio.
• Perform inspections, identify defects and carry out minor repairs to ensure safety and reliability.
• Diagnose faults during servicing visits and recommend repairs.
• Record service activities, defects and parts requirements in company systems.
• Liaise with customers and maintain high service standards.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer:

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance across a dedicated portfolio of lifts throughout West London.
• Complete routine inspections, identify defects, and carry out minor repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable.
• Diagnose faults during servicing visits and recommend appropriate repair work
• Record service activities, defects, and parts requirements accurately using company systems.
• Liaise professionally with customers, providing updates and maintaining excellent service standards.
• Work safely, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements of a Lift Engineer:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) - Essential
• Full UK driving licence - Essential
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining lifts - Essential
• Good working knowledge of a variety of lift manufacturers and control systems.
• Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently.
• Able to manage a dedicated West London service route efficiently.
• Live within a commutable distance of West London.
