Stannah Group is seeking a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover Bury St Edmunds and nearby areas. You will service, repair, and maintain lifts, attend breakdowns, and ensure safe, compliant operation with a local team for support.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and a Full UK driving licence. A Market Aligned salary, company van, and bonus schemes are included.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is required.
• Experience as a lift engineer servicing and repairing lifts.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Lift Engineer Jobs in Bury St Edmunds at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas.
You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Bury St Edmunds and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Lift Engineer Requirements:
