Job summary

Stannah is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to cover a route across London & South East London. You will service and repair stairlifts, micro-lifts and goods lifts, keeping customers moving in their own homes, and join the Orpington Service Branch.

The role includes a company van, mobile phone and tablet, a valid UK driving licence and a clean DBS check, with on-call rota and standby payment. Salary up to £52,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Lift Engineering (or equivalent) or transferable electrical/mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience servicing and repairing lifts or similar equipment is desirable.
• Full UK driving license and DBS check is essential.

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer who has Stairlift experience to cover a route across London & South East London.

As a Service Engineer at Stannah, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers moving in their own homes which is a passion of ours.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Orpington Service Branch where you will be responsible for servicing and repair of stairlifts, micro-lifts and goods lifting equipment.

Our ideal candidate would be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 Lift Engineering (or equivalent) or have transferable electrical/mechanical engineering experience.

All our Service Engineers are equipped with company van, mobile phone and tablet, therefore a valid UK driving licence along with a clean DBS are essential for this role.

You will be required to participate in our on-call rota and in return, you will receive a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary.

Working Hours: 8.00am - 4.45pm Mon - Thurs and 8.00am - 3.45pm Friday.

• Ensure a high standard of service and customer care is maintained
• NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge is essential
